Audio producer and digital publisher Ian Skillicorn
I produce audiobooks and podcasts for writers and publishers, and audio stories for www.shortstoryradio.com, which I founded in 2006. Read more about my audio productions.
My ebook imprint, Corazon Books, has published five titles, with more to come later this year. The School Run by Sophie King has been a Top Ten Kindle bestseller and #1 in Amazon's Women Writers and Fiction chart. Read more about my ebook publishing projects.
In 2010, I founded National Short Story Week, which aims to get more people writing, reading and listening to short stories. Already a popular and established event in the literary calendar, National Short Story Week is celebrated by many hundreds of libraries and schools, as well as publishers, reading and writing organisations, and countless individual writers, readers and listeners around the UK. I've worked with words my whole career - as a writer, translator, producer and voice over artist. I frequently collaborate with writers, publishers, actors and professionals working in schools, libraries and the media. During the past two decades I've worked on projects involving a wide variety of people from first-time novelists to household names from television, radio and film.
Publishing and broadcasting are changing at an unprecedented rate. New technology offers exciting opportunities for creative professionals. I have first hand experience of benefitting from this in my own career and enjoy helping other individuals and companies to utilise digital developments for their own creative projects.
Please get in touch to discuss how I could help with your audio or digital project.
